Providence Baptist Church

It is the desire of Providence Baptist Church to bring glory to God by spreading the greatness of His name to people who have not heard it. Our mission is to spread the gospel to all nations through church planting. This can only be done through sharing Christ locally, as well as supporting those who share Christ globally. Our prayer is that God will use our church to demonstrate His love, and spread joy to those who need Christ.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Santhosh and Sophie are serving with their two children, Joanna and Jonathan, are serving in Kerala State, India.  They are involved proclaiming the glorious gospel of Christ, planting new churches and training National pastors.  Providence has partnered with them since 2005 through prayer and financial support. Redeemer Community Church

Dan Valentine along with the Adam Thomas family and the Jeff Joyce family is making preparations to plant a church in inner-city Pittsburgh.  The needs of the urban centers in our nation are great and the churches are few. These three families are committed to proclaim the gospel of Christ and to establish a solid Bible teaching, Christ exalting ministry in the east end of the urban center of the city.  They desire to meet the many social needs of the people through the wisdom and power of our great Triune God.

Redeemer is a recent addition to our Missions Family.

Construction updates

Tori is a veteran missionary serving in Kitwe, Zambia which is located in Central Africa.  Tori is active in serving with Faith Baptist Church with her main responsibility being the establishment of a Christian School for the children of Kitwe.  She administrates, teaches and trains teachers for this school.  During this term [2008 - 2011] Tori will be moving to their orphanage located outside of Kitwe and helping with the education needs of the 50+ children living there.  With Aids taking such a heavy toll on the people in this area the proclamation of the gospel as well as the training of children is critical.

Tori is a recent addition to our Missions Family.
