Our Heartbeat

At Providence, our heartbeat is to display the Glory of God in all things to all people. God is complete in love and holiness, and He is perfect and majestic in every way. We strive to see God for who He really is, the creator and sustainer of all things. By God's grace, we want to show His greatness through four Biblical commitments.

1. Truth - We strive to glorify our creator through a commitment to the truth. Our desire is to be a church that is centered on and driven by the Word of God. It is only through the inspired Word of God that we can know God and enter into a relationship with Him.

Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. John 17:17

2. Worship - We also seek to exalt our great God through authentic worship from humble hearts. We are passionate about lifting up the name of our sovereign God, the only One who is worthy of such high praise.

Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. -  Revelation 4:11

3. Community - We also desire that God's greatness is on display through loving and transparent relationships with our fellow believers. All believers have been brought into the family of God, and are united by the Holy Spirit as brothers and sisters in Christ. As we build and strengthen relationships with our Christian family members we have the opportunity to love, help, teach, admonish, and care for each other.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25
